About El Sazon de Happy

At El Sazon de Happy, the fact that you can see us, talk to us, and know where your money goes matters. We serve traditional Dominican food on Broad Street in Hazleton, and our pica pollo... crispy fried chicken seasoned with our own traditional flavor... has become the dish people drive across town for. Our mofongo, camaronfongo, and stewed meats are prepared the way they're made back home, and more than one customer has told us our seasoning tastes exactly like their mother's cooking. As Gervacio P. shared, "The food at Happy's Sazón is excellent, I'll always eat the best fried chicken in Pennsylvania." Our lunch plates come loaded with rice, beans, and your choice of protein, and our fried yuca balls, empanadas, and tres leches round out a menu built on real Dominican comfort food. We've catered company events, fed families for generations, and welcomed customers who tell us our food brings them right back to the Caribbean.
